Day 8 & 9: AM Nap Training

Wow. 2 Days in a row now, B has been going down to nap in the crib at 9am. She sleeps for an hour and is fully rested for the rest of the morning. She is just amazing. She fusses for about 30 seconds like I put up the rail, but then she's out. I'm hoping she's used to her new routine.

Up between 6-6:30am. Breastfeed, diaper change, play, eat cereal/fruit, diaper change, read book, rock in glider with quiet songs and maybe breastfeed and down just at 9. I hope I can keep up the uninterrupted routine.

Really Nice Bags w/o Being Commercial or Cutsie

Zosephine Bags
I'd love to get this one for a messenger bag for style

But as I mentioned in a previous post, I'd get this bag for the charity/eco-friendly aspect. Rickshaw's Wee Generation Bag

However when I feel dressed down, I like to use my old Sherpani Trevina Messenger Bag.
I can just throw one of my changing pads from the other bags with a diaper and ziploc of baby wipes.

Slainte Bags

This is the fabric I have for my diaper bag. I got it at the Los Altos Art & Wine Festival. The vendor also threw in the matching coin purse. I have this large tote/diaper bag with bright flowers on them like this one pictured below.

Day 5, 6, 7...

So same things happened on Day 5 & 6. She fed and then fell asleep in my arms. Kept her for 30 minutes then when I tried to put her down in her crib. Wah!!!!! Argh. So for two days the afternoons were a bit rough because she was tired but didn't want to go down. She was going to sleep at 5:30-6pm and totally asleep for 12-13 hours straight.

Day 7 happened to coincide with her 9month birthday. I cheated and let her sleep in my arms for an hour. She was so happy that day. Alot better during the day compared to previous days.

Let's see what happens Day 8 :)
