10 minutes turns into 45 minutes that turns into 2 hours...people who want to run a service business really can't afford to let potential new clients to wait for that long. I'm more than willing to cross you off my vendor list if you're that long. What kind of first impression is that and to even think you'll get any business from me is just short out of luck. Even doctor's offices these days are more mindful of you waiting even 10 minutes. The other industry doing better is delivery services. They used to give a 4 hour window now it's 2 hours and they even call you when they are 30 minutes away. I think cable and utilities are still the long wait folks. But how long are you willing to wait? 15 minutes with a call...as long as the person honestly tells me they will be 2 hours late i just reschedule. What do they think that everyone just sits around and wait?
